Dr. Karim H El-Sherief is a caring and concerned Doctor....He truly is interested in my well being and I truly appreciate that..He is quite pleasant with a great smile...I saw him today and he wants me to start walking 10 to 15 minutes a day to start....Well DOC...I just came out of Winco and spent 15 minutes walking around the parking looking for my car...lol Does that count??? Thanks for being an understanding Doctor....

I absolutely love this doctor! He placed two stents near my heart that were very difficult and undoubtedly saved my life. He is very caring and communicates easily with his patients. He is the best thing going at Tri City Hospital.

I met Doctor Karim El-Sherief as a result of my having a major heart attack. I was in severe distress when transported to Tri-City Medical Center in Vista, CA where Doctor El-Sherief happened to be the cardiologist on call. He performed emergency surgery to clear a completely blocked left anterior descending artery blood supply to the front of my heart. Doctor El-Sherief successfully cleared the blockage and inserted a stent, all within fifteen minutes from the time I reached surgery. Doctor El-Sherief saved my life, for which I cannot adequately express my thanks. Doctor El-Sherief continued his support during and after post-operation recovery, including monitoring my progress through the Tri-Center Medical Center Cardiac Rehabilitation program. In the course of follow-up office visits I have been impressed by Doctor El-Sherief’s high level of professional knowledge, personal warmth, and his willingness to listen and discuss approaches to maintaining cardiac health with the view to… continued excellent quality of life. I am alive because of Dr. Karim El-Sherief. In 2014 I had a major heart attack. Dr. El-Sherief was the cardiologist on duty at Tri City Medical Center. He was able to quickly deploy 3 stents into badly blocked arteries. He has been my followup cardiologist ever since. I certainly wouldn't see anyone else.

Karim El-Sherief is highly knowledgeable in the field of medicine. He went over and beyond in order to make me feel comfortable and explain his diagnosis to me. He was very kind to me and my family. Eventhough he is not a native Spanish speaker he spoke Spanish fluently and overall was the best doctor I've received care from at county USC.
