As Director of the Regional Anesthesia Acute Pain Service at Froedtert Hospital, I oversee our very capable staff in the management of acute perioperative pain. Our care is tailored to the individual needs of each patient and their family, utilizing medications, regional nerve blocks and bedside counseling. As an anesthesiologist in the operating room, I listen to and integrate the desires of each patient in my plan. The top priorities across my practice are patient safety, comfort and compassionate care. I pride myself on employing cutting edge, evidence based care. I am active on several institutional committees to optimize the overall hospital experience for a variety of surgical patients.
