Hello, I'm Karina Gutierrez MS, LPC, NCC. I'm a Bilingual licensed professional counselor with 7 years of experience helping individuals navigate complex emotional and psychological issues. From relational problems to major life transitions to mood disorders; I have a passion for utilizing a psychodynamic, humanistic, and integrative approach to therapy. I believe in tailoring my approach to the unique needs and goals of each client.
The majority of my experience has been centered in helping my adult clients through trauma informed lens, to help minimize the symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, Adult ADHD and PTSD. I'm trained to work with the LGBTQ+ community and I strive to understand the unique struggles and experiences. In my therapy sessions, I create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe in empowering my clients to better understand themselves and their experiences, and in supporting them in their journey …towards growth and self-discovery.
My philosophy is centered around strengths in relationship, introspection of our inner self and in restorative rest. I truly believe it is the highest honor to be able to offer a safe place where clients can feel free to explore their lives.
