Dr. Karl Richard Goodman, MD

Dr Goodman was my Primary care Dr from 2015 to 2017.He discovered a congenital heart problem , which led to open heart surgery to replace a valve. Dr Goodman did my routine physical to prepare for the surgery. I had a bone density test, also routine, he told me I had osteoporosis I assumed that he would let my surgeon know. It wasn't until the last 6 months in a recent dexa report that I discovered he never put this VITAL info in my report. Had I known this I could have treated the pain I have experienced for almost 6 years. The sternum has never complete healed. .mMy surgeon would have wrapped the sternum had he included this report Did Dr Goodman forget? Did he decide it wasn't important? I believe I could have saved a fortune in complimentary professionals if he had believed that I had pain. It's been excutiating Please people be careful, We all deserve better, more thorough care It's ridiculous what I have been through since 2015. I of course have a new PC , but why… did he leave this info out?

I have been Dr. Goodman's patient many years and I like him very much. Recently I had to go to Mt. Sinai West hospital for 5 days before consulting Dr. Goodman but I asked the hospital to contact him. I don't know if the hospital did but after being discharged, I tried to contact Dr. Goodman and only got a messsge that he was unavailable. I left a message several times but no one ever called back. Finally after 3 weeks I got tnrough to his office and was told he now has a different phone number.

I have been a patient of Dr goodman for over 20 years. He is an excellent doctor.,kind courteous , patient and easy to talk to talk to. I fi d his staff VERY kind and friendly. I would refer all of my friends and relatives to Him Bea hairston

Great doctor. He is kind and knowledgeable. He has diagnosed my ailments quickly and has made appropriate referrals. In fact, one of these may have saved my life.

I was new patient. Was scheduled for specific time and was seen 45 minutes. When I was finally seen, I was confused with another patient. I understand that mistakes are made but that was carelessness. Will never return to this clinic.

For several years, I have trusted Dr. Goodman. He is as fine as his name!

I've been going to Dr. Goodman for several years now, and he is consistently kind and professional. He always takes the time to speak w/me, answer questions and genuinely cares about his patients. He is such a warm man. His staff on the other hand, could use some lessons on being courteous and professional. They are RUDE often times, and I don't understand why Dr. Goodman tolerates it.
