Although Dr Greene has many medical accolades to his name, I want to share my experience with him. 15 months ago Dr Greene did a two level cervical spine discectomy and fusion. The pain and suffering from recovery was excessive. Dr and his P.A. made it clear they were FAR to busy to deal with any questions or negativity regarding the surgery. Taking it to the point that I wouldnt contact them as to avoid being literally hollered at as it seemed like they were both "offended" that I should have questions or be outside "normal" recovery. My caregiver tried to get me further medical help the day after the surgery and Dr Greene literally yelled at him that I was ok and he was NOT to take me in to see anyone. It is now 15 months later and I have zero relief from the nerve impingement he was correcting and I pray the disc that was eroded out toward my spine is corrected. I suffer 24 hours a day of numbness, stabbing nerve pain, and constant aching in my left hand. And now I have what… seems will be forever a golf ball size lump in my throat. Easily, this surgery and the follow up with Dr Greene and his P.A. have been the most traumatic events of my life. His surgical ability may be outstanding, but his poor quality of follow up care completely negates his stellar surgical ability.

Dr. Greene is a talented, wonderful and compassionate doctor, who takes time to listen to his patients. His surgery fixed cervical spine deterioration and spinal cord compression, which alleviated severe pain and restored function in my arms and hands. If not for the surgery, I believe I would be disabled by now. After having almost all of my cervical vertebrae fused, I still have good range of motion in my neck. Four months ago, I was in a motorcycle/deer accident and the work Dr. Greene had done in my neck withstood the trauma beautifully. I could concentrate on a broken leg without having spinal problems also. I am a big fan of Dr. Greene's.

I had been in pain for over a year. Went to internist, was referred to pain management. Received epidural injections, went to physical therapy, had chiropractic care and even accupunture to no avail. Saw Dr. Greene. I was to the point that I could not walk more than 10 feet. The pain was 10 out of 10. Surgery was done 3 weeks later. I was able to walk that day. It was amazing. Can't thank him enough. His PA Anthony, amazing too, as well as the rest of the staff. Thoroughly explained procedure. Listened and answered all questions. Was never rushed. Only doctor I will see if I have anymore back issues.

Very approachable and easy to talk with. He showed me the MRI and afterward fully understood the reason for my pain. Excellent teacher - trusting patient's perspective about their own body. He is interested in what you think is going on and the level of function you want. A very rare type of encounter with most physicians. Very compassionate. Would recommend highly.
