Dr. Krieger and his staff went above and beyond to save my mother's life, and were nothing but compassionate, kind and professional to her family and friends. From the moment he took her on as a patient, he had the utmost patience with her (and with everyone involved). He made her feel at ease. He checked on her every day and made sure that someone was just an arms reach away at all times. His staff are the best of the best. Without a doubt, I would recommend this surgeon and his staff to anyone who was in need, near or far. An incredibly traumatic experience was turned into something positive. We can't begin to thank Dr. Krieger and his team of highly trained professionals enough for all they have done.

Dr. Krieger may be a well known heart surgeon, I found his overall attitude rather cocky. My 84 year old mother was told by other well qualified cardiac surgeons valve replacement was not an option and she would die on the table. She went to Dr.Krieger. He gave her a false sense of hope and did not explain the possible complications of this surgery on her 84 year old heart. She died in the hospital after several weeks of what I call being a guinea pig for all the "residents".I believe the surgery should never have been done. Dr. Krieger insisted she would be fine and she was a wonderful candidate for this surgery. ssurgeonsattempted a valve replacement on my 84 year old mother, who was told that surgery would not be an option

Dr. Krieger is simply the guy you go to when you’re in deep trouble. On top of technical expertise, his management and leadership of his care team and Residents is outstanding. Dr. Krieger has given me the gift of life twice.
