Dr. Karl M. Schweitzer, MD

This man walks on water. He came into the hospital to assess me and erform surgery on BOTH of his days off. He could not have been nicer, he always made himself available ot the extent of returning a call when he was on a break as a lecturer in California.

Could not be more thankful for Dr. Schweitzer and his care. He is a godsend.

I came to see Dr. S after being seen by several prior foot and ankle orthopedists. Within 10-15 min he was able to diagnose and provide a reasonable treatment plan for what was previously considered to be a 'mystery' and I had no treatment plan offered by the other docs, some even offered exploratory surgery! I am now better through his diagnosis and nonop care efforts. I recommend him to all my family/friends with foot or ankle issues. Top notch guy. Don't be fooled by his young appearance, he is mature and wise beyond his years

Dr. Schweitzer took my case as an "ankle salvage" (he thought I potentially could lose my foot and/or leg) after my previous surgeon did poor work and ignored a festering infection. I could barely walk when I first saw Dr. Schweitzer. As far as I am concerned Dr. Schweiter did miraculous surgical work. His bedside manner is personable and attentive. Thanks to him I am walking again. I continue to improve every day.

Dr. Schweitzer was nice enough to fit me in to his schedule the Monday after I had broken my ankle. He saw me promptly and was very helpful and positive.
