Dr. Karon Rita Locicero, MD

The Front Dest Staff is horrible. Not one of them has EMPATHY for the patients. I cannot express shocked I am that any Clinician would tolerate their behavior with their patients. They are extremely rude in person and by phone. They will hang up on you for asking questions. They also refuse to reveal their names. I cannot even get past them to speak with the manager or supervisor regarding this matter. I took time out of my day to drive to the office on Swann AvenueAnd the ladies refused to let me talk to a supervisor and refused to give me their names. They said it was a HIPAA violation. First time I ever heard that. I did speak to a supervisor And I don’t think she is going to do much because she just kept saying they are a busy office. Even a doctor or a nurse practitioner came upfront and I asked to speak to her and she refused. I guess nobody in this office has any empathy. I also find it very weird that on some other one star reviews, it says to contact the office. How can you do… that when the front desk will not transfer you to the correct person or hangs up on you and when you go into the office you sit there for 40 minutes for them to finally get somebody to speak with.

Stay away from Dr. LoCicero!!! My experience with this doctor has been a nightmare and had caused a deterioration of my health. The doctor cancels appointments without notice and nobody from the office follows up. It has been a year since I last saw the doctor because they continue to cancel appointments and currently my next appointment is for 2024, which I am sure she will cancel at the last minute. Ridiculous! This disregard for my health and well-being is not only unprofessional but also demonstrates a lack of respect for patients. It is deeply unsettling to think that my health could be at risk due to the doctor's negligence in addressing health concerns and urgent matters. I advise anyone considering this doctor to think twice before putting their health in jeopardy. The constant cancellations, long rescheduling delays, and lack of responsiveness are indicators of a highly unreliable medical practice. I strongly recommend that you seek providers who prioritize patient care,… health and well-being unlike Dr. LoCicero.

LoCicero is the very best medical establishment I have found! Beginning with "Harris" who answers phone, polite & kind! The office staff, friendly & helpful, (Chynna, Bob, Jason, and everyone I have met at Locicero are great!) The best team of Doctors, Dr James Simon, Dr Mennen, Dr Amshell, & this practice has so many specialty doctors ( I genuinely am very impressed with all!)

My appointment was for 10:40. It is now 11:40 and I still have not been called. You guys are very good to collect payment prior to delivering the service, but do not care for how long your backoffice takes to get the patient in. Please review your process. Delays do not add up. Are doctors getting the on time or are they staring latter than expected? Mind you, this is not the first time this happens. Please fix it. Thanks.

CAN YOU PUT ZERO STARS??? I promise you, I have tried so hard to give this medical group the benefit of the doubt. They have CONSISTENTLY, REPEATEDLY provided the WORST medical treatment I have had in my 47 years of living. The first visit, they told me I couldn't be seen because I didn't have a referral - completely not true. And even though I had a referral, it wasn't required since this was an annual gyn well visit appointment. Second visit: they said they couldn't see me because my insurance (Florida Blue) had not paid the first visit. I asked why they didn't call me prior to coming so I could handle this myself. No reason - they don't care that I took unpaid leave from work, drove across town, wasted my time waiting for over an hour just to be refused service. After arguing to the point that I was almost escorted out by security, I finally PAID OUT OF POCKET for the visit because I need to be treated and didn't have time to waste. Weeks later, the billing office calls me to… schedule an ultrasound. When I arrive for the ultrasound, I am told that it will have to be rescheduled because the person who performs the ultrasounds "had to leave due to a personal emergency," So, no one could call and TELL me this before i schlepped across town? I said okay, since I'm already here, I may as well go to the lab and get my annual HIV test. Two weeks later, I called them and set up an appointment to review my lab results. These idiots tested me for Herpes, Hep, Syphillis, EVERYTHING EXCEPT the HIV test I requested!!! I give up. COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME - 4 VISITS THAT CULMINATED IN ME DECIDING TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. This time, I'll definitely read the reviews before I make an appointment.

Every time we come in we are always seen on time, or before our schedule time. We are never made to wait. My kids are always given their shots with compassion. Tyler is so good with my girls asking them about their day to make them forget about their shots. He is so good with the girls. If the girls were asked what they like best they would say the candy, they make sure the kids have a reward after they have to get their shot. I love that personal touch. We love Dr. Gerrish also, she makes sure to answer all my questions and concerns every time. Tyler and Dr. Gerrish both listen and return my calls promptly whenever I call about a worry. They are amazing.

So far, Dr Cramer and her staff provide excellent care, treatment and kindness in their care for my medical condition. Professionalism is a general norm with Dr Cramer's team and I can defiantly state, my overall physical and mental outlook has improved with the oversight of this considerate team.

Avoid at all costs !

I have been a patient of Dr. LoCicero for many years. I also see Jackie a lot for my regular visits and she is fantastic. Dr. LoCicero is so caring, thoughtful and very thorough. With my medical issues it is important for me to have a doctor that can over see all of my health when I am admitted into TGH. Dr. LoCicero makes sure she is there at the hospital and makes sure my care is managed completely. The staff at LoCicero Medical is so friendly and amazing, when I need to call in they make sure and answer any questions I have. I am very happy with LoCicero Medical, they offer so many services and go to the hospital when you need them. A lot of doctors do not go to the hospital, then you are stuck with a stranger handling all of your care, Dr. LoCicero is a wonderful Doctor and I recommend her in every way.

Great friendly service! Sam has been a great help along with Jason in the lab who is always there to assist in any way possible! Everyone has been super helpful and the wait wasn't to long either!
