I had a nice experience from all members of the staff which is rare. The office staff seemed very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Piotrowska is very soft spoken and kind, she made me feel very comfortable. She listened to all my concerns and address all my questions. The earlier comment about her jacket being filthy and her shoes being unpolished seems very ridiculous. She gave me free samples to last me a few weeks. I was even able to have my labs drawn there before I left. It all went very smoothly. I would recommend her to others.

Dr. Piotrowska has a gentle touch, and she clearly explained each step of the process of the FNA/biopsies on my thyroid. She calmly listened to each thing I wanted to say. I get the feeling she’s good at mirroring people’s emotions, whether someone needs seriousness, reassurance or a bit of humor. She is clearly takes good care of herself, which is reassuring to see a doctor “walking the talk” as regards their own health. The Thyroid and Endocrine Center (Sarasota) receptionist is very responsive by email. A positive experience for me that all 4 of us (my family) were welcomed into the exam room/procedure room. Staff & doctor were also relaxed/welcoming that I needed a pause in order to breastfeed my baby.

Dr. Katarzyna Piotrowska lab coat was filthy dirty. Her shoes were unpolished. She was 45 minutes late for her first appointment. My firend called the practice manager to discuss the situation and asked for another doctor because she did not want to see a health professional who was unclean. Her request was denied because the practice does not allow patients to "switch doctors". She will switch practices instead. Too bad the practice cannot take feedback and make changes to protect their image.
