Dr. Katarzyna Zolkos, MD

I had a new patient appointment on January 19th. I recently moved to Florida and needed a new PCP to prescribe my ADHD medication. Upon scheduling I was told I may need referred out to a specialist so I allowed myself plenty of time before I would need a refill of my medication to get an additional appointment in with a specialist. At my appointment, Dr. Zolkos informed me that because I already had a confirmed diagnosis and my dose didn’t need adjusted that she would have no problem taking over prescribing this for me and to call back when I needed the medication filled. I left with an order for my yearly blood work and an appointment to come back when I was due to my yearly physical in July. Today I called in and Dr. Zolkos refused to fill my medication and had her office staff tell me I need to go see a specialist. I explained the above to the receptionist and after a few calls back and forth, I asked if I could speak to the provider directly. Unfortunately I was told she would be… very busy for the next several months and wouldn’t have time to return my call. So now I’ll be left to run out of medication that you shouldn’t skip doses of because my treatment plan wasn’t properly documented on her end.

Dr. Zolkos has been my primary care physician for over ten years. She is always warm and personable, taking the time to listen. I highly recommend her.

I HAVE BEEN A PT FOR 2 YEARS. SHE IS AN EXCELENT DOCTOR AND ALWAYS TAKES TIME TO LILSTEN AND EXPLAIN. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE RECENTLY MOVED HERE AND NEED A GOOD DOCTOR. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO CHANGE DOCTORS AND SHE MADE THE TRANSITION VERY GOOD FOR ME.

I’ve been a patient for about 5 years. She listens and takes client input very seriously. Excellent follow-up and very committed to diagnosing the problem and finding effective treatment. Great staff who are very friendly and helpful. I have recommended friends to Dr. Zolkos and heard only positive feedback!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Zolkos for several months now. We have nothing but good things to say about her and the office staff. They are caring and courteous each time we visit. I had some alarming test results recently and Dr. Zolkos made sure that each specialist she referred me to would treat me professionally and with kindness. We are very thankful to have found this office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zolkos for over 3 years. She takes the time to help me understand her findings and always allows time for additional questions. She is an excellent physician!
