Dr. Kathy Moffitt Musello, MD

I have been coming here for years (with her partners of course) however in the last 2 years started seeing Dr. Musello because it's no longer a partnership but her alone. After communication through her patient portal she stated that "Some people take advantage of it as it is at no charge to them" because of my response "Normally when a provider offers a patient portal this is to offer patients self-service options that can eliminate phone tag with your doctor and sometimes even save a trip to the doctor’s office. If you feel you are being taken advantage by patients because it is at no charge to them then you really need to re look at the features you offer on your portal. I can understand what you are saying but can agree to disagree. With that being said Thank you" Her final response was "Please do not lecture me about how to use the portal. This is a message board only not a place where you should expect medical advice or n depth explanations. You are welcome to get your care… elsewhere" Because she was called out on this she wants me to seek care elsewhere. Unbelievable!! Very unprofessional.

I really like Kate she so sweet and kind hearted. The girl that takes your weight and blood pressure is extra sweet too. Thanks for everything you do Oakland Raiders RN4L

Educated, experienced, empathetic - Dr. Musello has been my ObGyn for 22 years. My daughter, who she delivered, in 1996, is now a patient of hers as well. She also stays up-to-date on the latest research into all women’s health issues. She’s great!!!

Not very personable, rude even. Could not take 5 minutes from her day to discuss test results. Says she's too busy, I must make a appointment to discuss results. Also allows receptionist to give test results over phone.

Love Dr. Musello. Have gone to her for about 20 years. Hope she never retires. :)

The receptionist gave me a time and day for my appointment over the phone but apparently put something different in the computer. When I showed up for my appointment I was told I had been scheduled for the previous week and was threatened with a $50 fine! When I was finally able to get an actual appointment Dr. Friedman insisted I return for another appointment to receive my results. I personally can't afford a $35 copay for a 5 or 10 minute discussion. I was charged a $50 fine when I tried to reschedule after payday :( The option to receive results via a phone or letter would have been appreciated. Guess I won't be getting those results... Hope it wasn't anything serious.

Dr. Musello was very rude to me. Their office made a mistake with a lab test and didn't take responsibility for it. When I came in to get another blood draw, the assistant was having problems and they wanted me to keep waiting indefinitely or go to the lab again. I told them I didn't have time due to my job and my husband's surgery and Dr. Musello was very rude and accused me of causing the problems with the blood draw, including not having enough to drink that day (how would she know without having examined me?). I cancelled my follow-up appt. If this is how she runs her office, then this is not a competent, understanding doctor. I would not recommend this doctor.

I started with Dr. Musello 2 years ago. I had some issues, and I was treated great! Unfortunately her office had some internal affairs, and I was not able to reschedule for my 6 month visit. I needed to go somewhere else, because I could not schedule an appointment for a year. I went to another practitioner for 1 appointment and wanted to return to Dr. Musello. When the office staff heard I had gone to another office, they immediate became rude and insincere. I was not able to discuss this with Dr. Musello, and they immediately told me I was not able to continue my care with her, and I am no longer a patient at their clinic. I am a health care professional as well, and I have never experienced such HORRIBLE PATIENT CARE and the extent of their insincerity! After 2 years of loyal care, a bond is created and obviously I am just another number and they could care less about their patients.

Dr. Musello is a knowledgeable physician with an excellent, caring bedside manner. She also seems to be "up" on the latest procedures.

Dr Musello and her staff are kind and caring. Office visits take a long time (especially if you are a new patient) because she and her staff are very thorough and ask many questions.
