Dr. Kateryna Komarovskiy, MD

Totally unpleasant visit to Dr. Komarovskiy. She was not willing to hear patient's concerns, but only pushed her own "visions". Patient’s symptoms and condition didn’t bother her. She only prescribes routine lab test, ignores patient input over her own bias. Blames other doctors and put labels on them over treatments they provided, even those are not her area of expertise. Nothing was done to address issues discussed on previous visit, instead doctor was yelling on patient for being "unhealthy". She was NOT supportive, and her knowledge and skills are far behind from current state of medicine. I found her very unhelpful and unprofessional! Total waste of time and effort.

Dr. K. is so knowledgeable with all aspects of the human body and she DOES see and look at the whole picture when evaluating someones health and she then makes recomendations and presents strategies for getting and keeping the patient as healthy as possible. She will not recommend prescriptions that you dont need. She is glad if you can be on as little medication as possible. A lot different than a lot of doctors. She is very prompt replying to online portal messages that the patient leaves for her. I have been a patient of hers for years and don't want to lose her as one of my favorite doctors. I respect her medical opinion and do as she suggests for medical treatment. "THANK YOU DR. K. FOR BEING YOU!!" Keep up the great work.

Could not make appointment because of an accident and she dropped me as a patient and refused to fill insulin for my insulin pump after 2 weeks of no insulin. She’s rude on top of all that and sent me a nasty email for missing ONE APPOINTMENT that I could not make .

Let me preface this by saying that I try to avoid Dr's visits like the plague because more often than not, I end up with a lab order to get at least a few vials of my blood. Surprisingly, I look forward to my visits with Dr. K because her staff and her make me feel so at ease. I can almost say its an enjoyable visit except for the initial blood test with the nurse. Although, I do love the fact that I do not have to go to a separate facility to check my A1C since they do it right there. Another thing is that Dr. K explains things in an easy to understand manner and helps you find alternatives to things that you already do. For example, I mentioned I enjoyed baking so she suggested some websites and using almond flour and coconut flour. She tries to make lifestyle changes easier instead of the steep and cold turkey ways some of the other doctors seem to subscribe to. I recommend Dr. K to all my friends who are in the same genetic predisposition as I am . My only worry would be… she would become too popular ....

I have been seeing her for T2 diabetes for about 3 years. She is very down to earth and does not belittle you like some doctors do for what you eat (my dad is diabetic and he has had this issue). She takes plenty of time to go through all of your concerns and is very thorough, despite all of that I have only had one longer than normal wait time and I go every 3 months.

Dr. K's office is a bit of a hike for me, but she is worth it. She is a very knowledgeable physician who stays on top of all the new innovations for diabetes. She listens and is truly concerned about the health and welfare of her patients. I HIGHLY recommend her.

I'VE BEEN DIABETIC, TYPE 1, FOR 52 YEARS. SHE, BY FAR, IS THE VERY BEST DOCTOR I'VE HAD. SHE KNOWS THE PUMP!!! IVE TAKEN CARE OF MYSELF OVER THE YEARS BUT HAVE NEVER HAD A DOCTOR WHO MANAGED MY CARE AS WELL AS SHE DOES. SHE ALWAYS PUTS HER FINGER ON ANY PROBLEM AND CORRECTS ALL. I'VE HAD MANY ENDOS OVER THE YEARS, BUT SHE IS THE VERY BEST...NO ONE ELSE EVEN CLOSE.

Dr Katerina is an extremely knowledgeable endocrinologist. Her office was a little too far from my house and with road construction I decided to find a Dr closer.

My favorite physician since I was a kid for for helping me live with Type 1 Diabetes. I like her for many reasons. Personable. Modest. Keeps up with research. Takes patients health seriously. Shows kindness towards even grouchy yelling farts. Respects her staff.There is more but I'm not getting paid for this review, lol.

Excellent, informative ,caring doctor who understands diabetes 1 and brittle diabetes. She is outstanding with a patient centered philosophy
