Dr. Kathariguppa Subbar Venkataram, MD

His office is maned by the most efficient individuals and group. Regardless of the question they always have the best answer for me. Doctor Venkataram is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had. Kris is very smart and I am always happy when I see her because she explains the situation so that I understand. When I follow their direction I feel much better.

This is no longer the doctor I started going to 15 years ago. He misdiagnosed my spouse 3 times in 2014, spends less and less time each visit, no longer makes rounds at hospital because "the computer is too inconvenient". He is an extremely nice man; but a below average physician. My nurse relative does better diagnosis 1400 miles away than he does in person.

Dr Ram has been my physician now for about ten years. He takes a personal interest in me and his physician assistant is very personable and gives reliable advice as well

Great bed side manners, easy to talk to, explains things clearly. staff is also great particularly the Pas and office staff.

The receptionist (not the nurses) act like guard dogs when trying to leave a message for the doctor. They act as if they are doctors themselves and make a determination based on your message whether or not they feel the doctor should receive the message. As far as the doctor is concerned, he is good at old school medicine but is not up to date nor is open to diagnosing and treating medical condiditons that are not textbook and do not fit a certain prototype or a standard pattern. He is good at treating standard health issues like allergies and high blood pressure.

I've been treated by Dr. Venkataram for many years - starting with his JSA practice on Waters. He's always kind, honest, and has never waivered in sending me to a specialist if I needed one or to have tests for further explanation. All doctors should be as caring.
