Dr. Katherine Bayard Bisharat, MD

I’m living with so many co morbidities and chronic illnesses that it’s hard to find a medical professional that takes the time to understand and treat the root causes of the multiple diseases. Dr. Bisharat has been an incredible person and magnificent doctor that clearly cares and takes her time figuring out a way forward. Her integrative and holistic approach is extremely helpful to improving my quality of life with everything I have going on medically. I’m honestly surprised that she is available to us for healing and healthcare. She’s truly one in a million. Furthermore, as a trans person of color I had found it almost impossible to find any medical providers that understood how to simply provide referrals or even provide basic health care services. Dr. Bisharat and her staff have always been so respectful and loving. I am feeling so blessed to have them in my life. I do have some minor issues with all the out of pocket expenses for supplements and tests, but quite frankly I would… not have improved without them. I hope for everyone’s sake that health insurance companies fully embrace functional medicine in the near future because it’s the only way to get results and prevent further deterioration of our bodies.

I was her patient at one time and she told me my problem was old age and completely misdiagnosed (because she didn't care) what was really wrong with me. I do not recommend her unless you want to try her yoga b.s.

This office has a staff that does not care for their patients. My visits have been met with a staff that has no compassion. It’s unfortunate to have a doctors office that has no regard for their patients.

I wish I could give Dr. Bisharat a 5 star rating, because she truly is amazing at what she does and am so grateful that I have found my way to her expertise. I can only give a 3 star because her front office staff is rude, impatient and never has engaged me as though I was a valued patient. Every time I go there, they seem VERY annoyed that they have to help me at all. Today when walking in, no one greeted me and I was left standing in front of a front office girl who was silent, until I asked her what I should do. Extremely awkward and unnecessary. This is the 3rd time I have went to that office and all 3 times, I've been given a cold experience when dealing only with the front staff. The practitioners have been GREAT!!! I will continue to go there because of Dr. Bisharat and back of the house staff, but will be addressing her front staff with her at my next appt.

The office is more concerned with selling you highly priced supplements and outside testing that is not covered by insurance. The nutritionist only suggested OTC rare supplements they just so happen to sell. Bisharat spent more time seeking zebra diagnosis like toxic mold exposure and heavy metal poisoning. Every appointment I have had has pushed this 400 dollar STOOL test over everything else. I have diabetes and through her scattered blood testing she found Hashimotos which she refused to treat with meds and refused specialist referrals.

LEFT ON HOLD TWICE 5-7 MINS; DON'T ANSWER WITH THEIR NAMES; NIA IS RUDE AND ARGUMENTATIVE I ONLY NEEDED A TB SKIN TEST FOR wORK. I FINALLY GAVE UP AND WENT TO WELLMART IN ROSEVILLE WHICH IS OPEN 7 DAYS WEEK GREAT EXPERIENCE

Monday morning, at 11am, I called doctor's office, but nobody picked up the phone. Well, I left a brief message there, along with my phone number, of course. Nobody ever answered me. How many PAID Receptionists would keep their job, unless she works for Dr. Bisharat. Most business offices, including medical, work 8-5, M-F. This one neither picks up the phone at 11am, nor calls you back, ever...

More worried about her yoga practice then her patients.. hard to get a face to face with her...
