Dr. Katherine Burns, MD

Dr. Burns is a great surgeon. She makes sure you are well prepared for surgery. She listens to you. The surgery went well and the post op care was exemplary. Highly recommended.

Katherine Burns is an excellent orthopedic doctor . I had broken (3) bones and tore (2) ligaments in my right foot. She performed surgery on my foot from a car accident when I was 7 months pregnant and during the entire procedure, she made sure me and my baby were ok, keeping me from as much pain as possible. She constantly followed up with me until I was healed at 100%

Excellent Surgeon. She saved my music career. Highly recommended. Just make sure to follow the amazing recovery pamphlet she gives you after your surgery. After seeing 3 other orthopedists, Katherine took WAY more time to examine my shoulder, moving my shoulder into positions no other Dr. did and found issues the other doctors did not find. She also took x-rays of my neck to find that my shoulder problems were stemming from there. No other doctor took the time and effort to truly get the root of the problem. I am very picky about who I choose as a doctor, I honestly saw 3 other doctors before finding Dr. Burns and I would have saw 3 more if I wasn't happy with my experience.

Dr Burnes and the staff at Depaul hospital made a very scary operation turn out very well for me. I will thank her and the staff at Depaul Hospital.
