Dr. Katherine Ann Gielissen, MD

I met Dr. Gielissen for the first time this week. I felt she was very warm and compassionate. I have a lot of medical problems and she thoroughly reviewed my records and was well versed on my condition when I met with her. I found the whole experience to be excellent and I am very happy with my choice in picking her as my primary care doctor.

This provider did prescribe appropriately so I gave an extra star. However, she did not listen to what I was sharing about my illness and assumed many things about me. There were untrue things written in my chart afterwards. Failed to obtain pertinent exam information, made some very rude comments. I understand that the providers may be working very long hours and feel that they need to rush through visits, but there is not an excuse for making up information that wasn't asked during the visit.
