Excellent doctor

Dr. Hensleigh, saved my life. Had been to other doctors who passed my problems to age. Under her thorough investigation, she found the problem and immediately sent me to UAB for immediate life saving care. She is patient, caring and knowledgeable. Good bless her talents!!!

I have use several doctors over the years but I have not found one better than my home town doc.

Dr. Hensleigh has been my PCP for 15+ years. She has always taken time to listen to my medical concerns and to diagnose and explain her diagnosis to me. I admait there was a time when getting in to see her usually involved an wait at her office, but since she has moved to her new location this is no longer the case. She now sees patients in a timely manner, as she now has the staff and equipment needed to allow her to do so. I highly reccomend her.

I found her to be easy to talk to and a great doctor. She is busy so you do have a few minutes wait.

Dr. Hensleigh has been my husband's Dr. for 20 years and she absolutely saved his life due to to her concern and caring nature. She is a wonderful woman. We are so blessed to have her in Butler.

Dr. Hensleigh has been a my physician for a number of years. She has recently changed from Rush Health Systems to Anderson. This change has done her office a world of good. They have a new office which is state of the art and a larger staff than she used to. Although Dr. Hensleigh used to have a reputation for long wait times (I still waited to see her) that has changed. The last time I went to see her I waited about 15 minutes before I got to see her. She was very caring and sympathetic to my sickness. I would recommend her to anyone!

Rude and overly confident with less knowledge than she projects!

Dr. Hensleigh is, in my opinion, a dangerous doctor. To my knowledge three people have passed away while waiting to see her. While her clinic is called Rush Urgent Care, there is nothing urgent about it. Appointments have to be booked sometimes over a week in advance, perhaps because she is the only full-time doctor in Butler. Her office staff is unfriendly, uncaring and disorganized. While she does attempt to do a good job, it is just not in her skill set. I have seen her more than a few times refer to medical texts to make a diagnosis. She does spend time with her patients, but she spends too much time considering her patient load. I personally waited over three hours once and I had an appointment. Follow up is poor at best, as the office staff is atrocious. Dr. Hensleigh would make a good enough doctor in a larger practice, but she is simply overwhelmed. I blame this squarely on Rush Health Systems, who own and operate the Urgent Care Center. I have no understanding of… how (or if) they are JACHO accredited. Please, do not send your loved ones to Butler Urgent Care. Meridian is just 37 miles away with three hospitals and over a hundred physicians.
