Dr. Katherine Sherif

I do not trust most people in the medical field, and it gives me extreme anxiety putting trust in these people as I’ve had bad experiences in the past. When I was diagnosed with PCOS, my mother and I searched for the best doctor possible, and we found Dr. Sherif. I made her my primary, and I honestly couldn’t even say enough good things about her! I can read people right away, and her heart is in the right place... which is always number one for me. She is amazingly brilliant and cares about her patients. She isn’t just here for a paycheck. She wants what is best for her patients. I lost 90 pounds and brought myself back to health, after a crazy hormonal episode causing me to gain weight rapidly in a short time. She was so happy to celebrate my victory with me! I just love her as a person and as a doctor. I highly highly recommend!

I have been with Dr. Sherif since I was 21. 20 years later I value her medical input as well as expertise. Her impact on my life has been immeasurable.

I love Dr. Sherif. She is dedicated to her patients and really listens to my complex (largely hormonal) medical issues and has helped sort them out in a way no other doctor has. I've also been grateful to see her wonderful nurse practitioner Susan Langmuir at times, who has been instrumental in improving my quality of life.

Dr. Sheriff was my MD for many years. She cares about every aspect of your health/family. She is thorough and accurate. Now, sometimes, there is a brief wait after you are checked in. However, Dr. Sheriff never rushes through your visit. She treats you like you are her only patient for the day.

Dr. Sheriff is wonderful! Making an appointment is difficult because of the staff. They are not friendly or helpful. I live 3 hours away and would drive to Philadelphia to see her. I have switched doctor's, only because I couldn't get an appointment from her staff that would fit my commute. We needed two appointments back to back for myself and my daughter. They didn't care and insisted on giving me appointments on separate days or 5 hours apart.

I will follow her to every practice she goes to. She is an amazing doctor, I would never trust anyone else, or anyone she didn't recommend.

Dr. Sherif, her Physician's Assistant and Staff are great medical professionals. Dr. Sherif is bar far one of the most knowledgeable and skilled Internists I have encountered. I was a patient of Dr. Sherif's prior to her moving to Jefferson and was grateful that I could follow her there.

Dr. Sherif is one of a kind! She is everything a doctor should be and more- kind, caring and knowledgeable! I Highly recommend her, specifically for helping with PCOS
