Dr. Katherine Elizabeth Webb

I scheduled my annual (in this case about a year and a half late) appointment with Dr Webb. I was traveling from approximately an hour away (from work which I had to take a 1/2 day vacation to attend the appointment). The bridge had traffic on it that day that slowed me by about 20 minutes. I arrived to an empty waiting room with 5 or 6 people huddled in the receptionist desk area doing nothing but chatting. Not even the courtesy to stop their personal conversations. They were employees. I was told I would need to reschedule my appointment for another day. (empty office, employees standing around, open for another hour and 10 minutes) When she offer nearly two months later (which I expected) I told her that was my wedding and she questioned rudely "the middle of the week?" and then proceeded to find another appointment that was middle of the day the following month (3 months out of my original appointment). Again I told her that I worked an hour away and that was in the middle of my… day and I wasn't taking yet another vacation day. She found another day that worked but in the 15 minutes it took me to get home I found another OBGYN who could see me within the next month - and who specializes in my health issues. I called when I got home to cancel my appointment with Dr Webb and asked for a records release form. Today I received a call from Dr Webb's office asking me to reschedule the appointment because they were concerned about my health. Yes, me too Dr Webb - that's why I took valuable time out of my day to travel an hour to your office only for your "chatty" staff and empty waiting room to tell me you really don't want my business. On a side note - I didn't see Dr Webb - just her staff that day- who were LESS than helpful.

Her offce was able to schedule an unexpected visit on short notice without making me feel like I was calling in a favor. My problem turned out to require more face time than expected. Dr. Pagano spent 45 minutes discussing my case and the treatment options. It turns out that she is very knowlegable regarding alternative medicine. I, however, chose a more traditional treatment. She talked very quickly but I could sense that she is very caring and commited. The office uses cloth gowns rather than those dreadful paper ones.The only negative about the experience is that the office staff would not allow me to bring my pomeranian in from the car even though it was 90+ degrees outside. Overall I think she is a WONDERFUL resource for our small underserved town.
