Dr. Kathleen Ann Boos, MD

I saw Dr. Boos for a primary care intake a few months ago. I didn’t get a great vibe from her - she seemed knowledgeable but didn’t seem to care about me as a whole person. It was the end of the day so I thought that may have impacted her bedside manner. Recently, I requested a refill of my birth control medication that was prescribed by my previous PCP. After 2 days and no response, I sent a MyChart message and I got a response saying Dr. Boos said I would need to see a gynecologist for this prescription. As a former primary care doctor myself, I was shocked by this response. Prescribing birth control is a basic component of women’s health that every PCP I’ve ever had and known as a colleague has done without question. Needless to say I will be finding a new doctor.

Dr. Boos is amazing the best doctor I have ever had. She is so professional, caring, compassionate and really listens and spends quality time with you. She has always gone above and beyond to help me plus Stephanie ,her amazing assistant, is also professional and compassionate ! What a team ! I'm so lucky. Carol Wimbish

cold, not willing to listen

Dr. Boos herself is a great doctor, but the front office staff definitely needs to be replaced. They act as though your being in the office annoys them. Um, excuse me but isn't the whole purpose of your job even being in existence is due to the patients?

Dr. Boos was good once you get past her staff. Her staff was horrible. From trying to make appointments to getting answers they had no consideration for my time and simply refused to take the time to answer my non-medical questions. While the Doctor was fine, I will not go back due to the way I was treated by her office staff. They are completely inconsiderate and unprofessional.

Sometimes the wait isn't bad, but sometimes it's been too long.

Dr. Boos always takes her time to discuss whatever she diagnoses and the treatment options to consider. When she detects something that is a red flag, she always refers me for additional testing immediately. I have been going to Dr. Boos for 10+ years and wouldn't change Drs. unless she retires.
