Dr. Kathleen Christopherson, MD

She is very detail oriented took great care of my sweet premature baby who is now 4 years and now sees my other to children. She's super attentive to little things but does not make a big deal if unnecessary. I felt so comfortable talking to her about anything. She eases the toddler into her assessment by playing and interacting with her so not to frighten her and very good bedside manor. She includes me with making any healthcare decisions. She has actually called me personally to check in after an appointment to make sure my daughter was doing better Love her! Office staff however could work on their people skills

Office staff is a nightmare

Dr. Christopherson is great! She met with us before the baby was born, came to the hospital room afterward to let us know how the baby was doing, and has been able to see us first thing in the morning when needed. She is knowledgeable, gentle and answers our questions. The other reviewer is angry because they would not see a child that isn't their patient, which is actually the policy of a lot of physicians. They want to establish patient history, and they are not an urgent care center. The entire staff is friendly, they remember us and they care about our baby.

We are new to the area and found Dr. Christopherson's name through our insurance company (she is a pediatrician). Our son needed to see a doctor. The staff member told us Dr. Christopherson only sees children the same day if they have been in before. Thus,if one wants to see this doctor be sure to call for an appointment months in advance while your child is well and hope they don't get sick before their first "well" appointment. The current wait for a new patient 2 months.All the doctors in this office have the same policy.We called another doctor who is Board Certified and they told us they would not turn down a sick child and they scheduled an appointment for the same day (they are combining the "well appointment" with seeing him for his illness).Dr. Christopherson you have a lame policy! Clearly caring for ill children is NOT your priority.
