Dr. Kathleen Reed Foote, MD

Been going to Monument Pediatrics for a LONG time, and our last visit which was over 6 months ago was with Dr. Foote. I don't know if she was having an off day, or if that's how she is now, but she just straight up told my daughter "you're too fat" after maybe 1 minute of entering the room. My daughter would not even be considered obese according to the charts, but she's in the upper percentage of her age bracket. So here's why i'm leaving a 1 star review 6 months after the fact... Dr. Foote's careless, ill-thought-out statement has wrecked my daughter. She's now doing unhealthy exercise and practicing radical eating habits because she thinks that if she only eats 1 meal a day, she'll lose the weight. Dr. Foote just came in the room, dropped a rude statement and left. I have spent over 6 months trying to convince my daughter that the doctor is wrong. My daughter's ethnicity doesn't fit your cookie cutter weight chart Dr. Foote. And you of all people should know how comments… about other's appearance can do a lot of damage. Shame on you.

I take my child there regularly for usually minor things. Dr. Foote has always been professional and caring. I feel that her recommendations about the medicines to give my child were spot on. I would say she is a very good doctor and would recommend her to others.
