Dr. Kathleen Weindorff Harris, MD

Dr. Harris is very thorough and recognized an issue that others before her had not. It is always easy to schedule and reschedule appointments. She is kind, but honest in answering questions or reviewing lab data. I wouldn't trade her for the world!

***BEWARE*** Billing Practice Of Dr. Harris. My fiance went in for her annual visit. Everything was perfect except her blood pressure was a tad high. Dr. Harris prescribed a medication, a prescription was written and my fiance went on her way. This was an annual visit and covered 100% by insurance, or so she thought. Because Dr. Harris had to write an Rx she claims that service is outside the annual visit and billed for a second visit. I am fully aware that this is legal, however I do not feel it is right. This information was not conveyed to the patient at any time. We only found out about this when we recieved a bill. Not all doctors at DCOL subscribe to this practice. I see another doctor at DCOL and he does not and never has billed this way. Just beware that Dr. Harris bills in this way.

She is not only a completely thorough and awesome doctor, she CARES about her patients. In a time when most of the world is set up where everything is more like a business, she is very compassionate and takes a personal interest in the complete welfare of her patients. She is the best!

Dr. Weindorff does all she can to be the best doctor to her patients. She, like all doctors these days, however, can't control things once you leave the office. When someone in her office says, 'I'll take care of it' you probably should follow up, but that's most likely true with any doctor. I don't see a need for me to see any other doctor. She takes care of me quite well.

She is interested in her patients. Take time to explain what is going on.

I don't have a ton to say since I have seen Dr. W. only once. But I can say this: she is awesome. She listened to every mundane detail I offered, and had a tremendously caring bedside manner. She was unwilling to let even the smallest detail pass by without significant conversation and analysis, which created confidence within me that she truly cared about what was going on with me, and that she is committed to addressing all issues that might exist with her patient in a preventative manner. I can honestly say that I look forward to a long and healthy (no, that's not a pun) relationship with this kind and professional health care provider.
