Dr. Herbig DOES NOT LISTEN. Instead, she relies on her preconceived notions and goes off on tangents unrelated to the reason for the appointment. It took me four months to get in to see her, and she was a big fat ZERO.

Dr. Herbig was absolutely amazing! She made me feel completely comfortable about my surgery and whole process. She has a very good bedside manner and she empathizes with her patients. Absolutely one of the best UT has.

Dr. Herbig is Amazing! She explains everything in detail, you never feel rushed.

I was just reading the comments, some of which I completely disagree with. Dr. Herbig is amazing! Her staff is also. You wouldn't believe what their PAs have to do, therefore, they NEED to be with the doctor in your appointment. I have been going to her partner for a while now. Dr. Herbig has had to step in when my doctor was out of town. She explained everything perfectly; Consoled me when I cried, and was very helpful in every way! I don't understand any negativity about her "bedside" manner. She is a sweetheart!

Dr. Herbig and Kathryn were friendly and explained the long process (over a year)involved in the breast reconstruction. Most of my appointments were in the middle of the day, which meant I had to leave work and return to work. They made the process quick and easy so that I didn't have to make up too much time.

Dr. Herbig was great!! She always answered my questions and explained in detail what was going to be involved in the reconstruction process. Dr. Herbig's PA Kathryn was very knowledgeable and always a big help. Everyone in the office was always very friendly and professional.

The thing I don't like is there is no privacy between the patient and the doctor. The PA is always present and sometimes students are in the room as well. The doctor is impatient when it comes to answering any questions you may have. The doctor is very knowledgeable in her field, and I would recommend her to other patients with the disclaimer that she definitely lacks people skills. The thing I like about her is she is prompt and you don't have to wait long, but she doesn't spend much time with you. Most of my visits have been less than 10 minutes with her.

Dr. Herbig is very capable of becoming a highly skilled Surgeon but, needs experience in the communication department with patients.
