Dr. Kathleen Hong, MD

Dr. Hong misdirected me, wasted my time and money on useless ultrasounds and tests and monitoring instead of focusing on my husband’s fertility issues, and directing me to explore better options. I had hoped after my oncologist recommended her, she would have given better treatment and guidance.

I love Dr. Hong! She has been such a God-send in this already difficult process. She's genuine, caring, and really does try to get you the family you've been dreaming of having. Having her as my doctor in my fertility journey has been one of the best decisions I've made. Working with her and my primary nurse, Michelle, has truly made this experience much more easier to handle. If you are looking for an RE, I would 100% recommend Dr. Hong and her team!!

I have met about 6 Doctors at RMA some are nice and some are not no so nice. I was absolutely blown away when I met Dr. Hong today. Dr Hong did my retrieval today and she was the absolute sweetest caring Doctors that I have met at RMA. She didn't make me like a # as some of the other Doctor have made me feel especially during monitoring. This is the first time I have met her and I wish I had known her sooner. I want to say Thank you Dr. Hong for treating me like a person and welcomed any questions that I have. I hope you're the Doctor working on the day of my transfer!

I have an extremely rare and unusual condition which requires compassion and patience. Throughout my care at RMANJ, Dr. Hong showed me patience, compassion, and professionalism. She was always trying to work with me to find the best solutions and plan of care. Wish every doctor was like her!

The OBGYN I had was not bad but I just wasn't attached to her, and after doing research, I was set on delivering at NYP Weill Cornell even though my doctor didn't practice there. So when I went into labor, I went there - the hospital was not the most excited since I didn't "belong" there haha, but after I was done with the registration desk everyone else was kind. I had to take an epidural bc they said I was passing stress to the baby, so I did. I was so relaxed after that, I kept falling asleep etc. I told my husband that I thought the baby had lowered, then I fell back asleep. Woke up and told him I thought the baby lowered even more, then fell back asleep. It was THAT easy. Dr.Hong had just completed doing a c-section for twins I think, and came to check on me. Much to everyone's surprise, my baby's head was already half out!! Her personality was great, she made me laugh and she joked a lot and put me at great ease. From the moment she checked me, she said to keep my legs together… while they get ready bc "it was time". The baby was born easily 9 minutes later (6/1/11). Later on, when I checked to find an OBGYN for my next pregnancy, I saw that this doctor had moved onto another medical facility. Boy was I sad! I was hoping to see her again especially if she had her own practice. Dr.Hong if you practice anywhere in NYC plz comment on this thread so I can come! You're a great doctor and most likely a great person!

Dr. Hong is absolutely incredible. I encountered many wonderful doctors at NYP but Dr. Hong stands out for many reaons. Unquestinably professional and most competent, she really cared. Her manner and kindness were unsurpassed which went a long way in easing my fears. She performed complicated surgery on me flawlessly. INCOMPARABLE. This woman is who God had in mind when he invented physicians.
