Kathleen Joyce, MD

I saw Dr. Joyce a few times, and while her bedside manner left a lot to be desired, I was willing to look past that. However, she brushed off my concerns again and again, and would not look past one test result. Fast forward a few months and I have been diagnosed with endometriosis by another dr. I wish she had spent the time to care about my health concerns, because i really liked the office.

Kind of grumpy, didn't introduce herself & during my whole 7 minute appointment I tried to ask questions but she wanted none of that - like I was putting her out - rushing me out the door - no "good luck with the rest of your pregnancy" like the other docs say - didn't even say goodbye. Dealt with her before when I had a miscarriage - found out at the hospital & she made me wait 45 mins in her office before she'd see me & was wicked grumpy then too. Not cool. CHEER UP.

Dr. Joyce needs to spend more time getting to know her patients, listen carefully to what they share as well as learn how to ask the right questions. It would not hurt to show patients that she cares about their well being and the well being of their unborn child. My experience with Dr. Joyce was unpleasant and I left Crown feeling as if I could not trust. I was not willing to go through labor with someone I believe to be cold. I never thought that I would leave my obgyn being eight months pregnant but after the insensitive treatment I received from Dr. Joyce I was not willing to compromise my health and peace of mind.

Dr. Joyce is wonderful. She is kind,, gentle and caring and surrounded by an amazing group in her practice at Crown OB/GYN
