Dr. Kathleen Marie Miller, MD

I saw Dr. Miller when she practiced at St. Vincent's adolescent center. I had Panic attacks and phobia. I did not get to see my family for 1 month while I was in patient. There was absolutely no reason for this. She also placed me on "chair" which was a treatment she used for patients she thought was not progressing with treatment. I was on chair for 28 days because I was not able to communicate the way she wanted me to. I was in a chair facing the wall when I woke up at 8:00 AM until it was time for bed at 9:00 PM. I ate all my meals there and did not have any activities. This was absolute abuse but at the time I was unaware of this due to my age. She also made me hold a baby rattler, while I was sitting on the chair. This was a complete abuse of power and was abusive to me as a patient. She also told me, "One day I will see you curled up in a fetal position in the adult center". Her actions have stayed with me all these years. She definitely did not make my situation better. It took… me a long time to trust another psychiatrist but I have seen some really good ones and they have been horrified by what I went through. I would never send my child to see this this doctor!

Her license needs to be revoked. Her demeanor is horrible:(

This woman is rude, condescending, and abuses her power at the business where she works. She will give you orders of what to complete, and when you comply, she will change the orders again and refuse to see your child till NEW said bar is met. She has canceled more then one appointment for my daughter, one of which I was never called and told it was canceled. I found out when I got there. One was canceled 10 minutes before app time AFTER I had already pulled my child from school to be there! She has no business being there....

I only felt compelled to write a review because I read the other review. I think Dr. Miller is great! My son sees her, she has a sense of humor which obviously the other reviewer found off-putting but we enjoy. I think she is an intelligent and caring doctor.

This woman is a nightmare! Worst service ever! The first thing she said to me was "I'm a psychiatrist. Oops you didn't hear me say that outloud". Seriously? She proceeded by asking me when my last "real job where I actually got paid" was. Nasty look on her face the wholw time and refused to answer my questions but instead typed a complete dialog of everything I said. She has no regard for anyone and needs to be fired promptly!!!
