Dr. Kathleen Mitchell is truly an exceptional OB-GYN. From the very first appointment, she made me feel heard, respected, and completely comfortable. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers every question with patience, and never makes you feel rushed. Her bedside manner is warm, compassionate, and reassuring, which is exactly what you want in a doctor during such important and sometimes emotional moments. What really stands out about Dr. Mitchell is how genuinely caring and attentive she is. She listens carefully and treats you like a person, not just another patient on the schedule. Her professionalism, knowledge, and calm presence make every visit feel supportive and safe. I’m incredibly grateful to have a doctor who is not only highly skilled but also deeply compassionate. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Kathleen Mitchell to anyone looking for an OB-GYN who truly cares about her patients and provides outstanding care.

I've been going to Dr. Mitchell for 6 years. She is always friendly and always makes me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. You ladies know what I mean!! She listens and will answer any of your questions. Great OBGYN!!

My primary recommended her. The 1st year I saw her was just a standard yearly appt. I thought maybe she just had a bad day and I chalked it up to that . 2nd yearly check-up, it was more of the same attitude (like having a fight with a sibling but forced having to talk to each other because Mom said). Now I was new to the area so I didn't know her & there's no way could have crossed paths. Just my clinical information is all. Third-year this is my mistake for being lazy to find somebody else, but she actually chided me like I was a child because I hadn't gotten a yearly mammoram done yet this year. Note: I'm not at the age or any family history that is deemed necessary to have an mammogram yearly. Completely uncalled for, I would rather never see another OB than ever go back to her ever again. Don't waste your time with her unless you want attitude. Her unhappiness in her choice of career should not be taken out on patients.

Hands down the BEST doctor I have ever seen!! So compassionate, spends time with patients and addresses all concerns, answers questions and very sincere!! I won't go to anyone else !!

It was the day we were going to leave, my wife had a C-section Dr Kathleen Mitchell came in for my checkup to be released and my wife complained about her rib hurting. Dr. Kathleen Mitchell just listen to my heart then walk out the door. No blood work and no x-rays to find out why she was having the pain we went home and her pain progressed. So I took to the local emergency room and they did a CAT scan and the blood work and found out that she had a pulmonary embolism. I researched this matter and discovered that it should have raised concern to Dr. Kathleen Mitchell because pain in the ribs after a C-section are common signs of a pulmonary embolism.  Pulmonary Embolism a is life threatening , saddly she didn't care that more than likely she would die if not treated, otherwise she would have done something.

I have been with Dr. Mitchell since 2004. I have been with for three pregnancies and she performed my tubal. She is outstanding. Very knowledgeable and great personality. Highly recommended. Her nurses are amazing too!

I've had an excellent experience with Dr. Mitchell. I had a very difficult pregnancy and I'm grateful that she was my doctor. She was very professional, caring and kind through the whole process. When admitted twice to the hospital due to complications, she always came to see me and explained everything, always encouraging me and making me feel calm and cared for. I went into labor her off day, and she was there. I highly recommend her. Even the nurses that took care of me, said that I was in good hands. And indeed I was. She deliver my beautiful healthy baby.

Dr. Mitchell has a kind bedside manner and she talks with you during your visit. She follows up with patients personally-- she even called me after 7pm one evening to request that I have an ultrasound mammogram ASAP. I appreciated that she didn't wait until business hours the next morning before telling me of her concerns, which allowed me to get the test done that very next morning. Dr. Mitchell has a lot of patients, so there is some time spent in the waiting room, but once you get to an exam room--you're finished pretty quickly. I feel very confident in Dr. Mitchell's expertise.
