Dr. Kathleen Rekart changed my life. Through cognitive behavior therapy, and her insight and support, I was able to turn my life around. She is very knowledgeable but more importantly, she is very compassionate.

Dr. Rekart is a miracle worker. I have never felt much trust for people but I quickly developed a strong bond of trust with her. Dr. Rekart is very very intelligent but she has the common touch. She is genuine and genuinely compassionate. She helped me change my life and turn negative energy towards the positive.

Dr. Rekart is an excellent therapist, but what I will remember most about her, aside from her intelligence, is her empathy and compassion. Not only did I constantly learn new things in our sessions, I was able to forge a bond of trust with her that was meaningful to me as a person (I had trusted few people in my life). That bond of trust helped make the therapy more effective. Dr. Rekart specializes in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and brooks no nonsense (well, maybe a little) when one tries to engage in avoidance. CBT is incredibly effective, more so than the standard Freudian talk therapy and other therapies I have been treated with in the past. I was extremely lucky to find this therapist. She is a very positive person, and deeply caring. She (and CBT) changed my life.
