Dr. Kathleen J R Schroeder, MD

Dr. Schroeder is by far one of the best primary care doctors in the Chicago area! I originally came for an issue and she had the soonest availability for primary care in the Northwestern system. The office is located much further than I would prefer, but she provides great care and has a wonderful staff, so I will continue to come back.

I made an appointment to establish care which took two weeks to get in. I was given the wrong address twice! Both times I sat on hold for 4-5 minutes waiting for someone to answer and provide the correct address. After finally obtaining the right address, I was told I was around the corner from the office. The women told me to hold on while she talks to the doctor, she came back and told me the doctor said I’m at the 15 minute grace period so I have to reschedule! Even though her office was at fault, the doctor was aware and still denied me care. I waited two weeks for the appointment (in pain no less), My husband had to leave work early to take care of our baby, AND I had leave work early. The doctor was unapologetic, the office said it happens all the time because their address is wrong on google & I was told to go to urgent care if I was in pain! Who would want a doctor that lacks care and concern being in charge of their medical care? AND I was told they can’t guarantee I won’t… be billed for a no show! Unbelievable!!
