Dr. Williams is an exceptional physician. She is very thorough and thoughtful. She treated me respectfully throughout what is at best an awkward procedure. She is a caring professional with whom I was very comfortable throughout treatment.

When I was diagnosed with cancer it could of been a devastating moment. Dr. Williams quickly reassured me that everything was going to work out and that I was going to make it through this with her by my side. Her confidence, compassion, and willingness to listen made all of the difference in the world to me. She explained every detail of my surgery (and I hadn't had surgery since my tonsils more than 20 years ago) and answered every question I had even when they were the dumbest things you could think of. She was more than my doctor, she became my friend. Because of her, I never worried about the hospital or the outcome. She allowed me the opportunity to put my full trust in her abilities. After surgery I was back to work within three weeks and I am without the cancer in my body. Dr. Williams is truly a blessing. She will forever be a part of me and will always have my respect and friendship. If you are looking for a qualified, caring professional, you found her!

Was referred to her for 2ND opn re: colon surgery. Had to wait 2 mos for appt. Asked office staff if they needed me to bring any records to appt & was advised, "No, we have everything we need." When i arrived for appt, there was only one person waiting. While I was in the examining room, I could hear people walking through the office. After nearly 2 hrs, i asked at the desk when i would be seen. The staff apologized & said she was having trouble with patients that day. About 10 min later, Dr. Williams entered the examining room. She seemed flustered, asked me random, incohesive questions & kept flipping back & forth through a few pgs in the file. Then she told me she didn't really have records on me -- very scant. Without records, she said she couldn't give me a 2nd opn. I told her the staff had assured me weeks prior to appt "we have everything we need." I didnt understand the contradiction. She continued flipping. Then I said it was my understanding she was in the… Fla Hosp system & could have accessed my records. She stasted adamantly that she could not go willy nilly into someone's records without their permission in writing. I asked, then why didn't she ask for my written permission prior to my appt. No response, except to (oddly) narrate without a breath how serious colon surgery is & the physical & life changes that occur, and the surgery is something i really want to avoid (as if having my colon removed was something I wanted, rather than wanted to avoid). I was somewhat confused and annoyed about the whole interaction, or lack thereof. Ultimately, Dr Williams told me she would request my records and if I didn't hear from her, I could assume she didn't recommend surgery.

I was in severe pain caused by diverticulitis. She ran the cat scans and did the colonoscopy and then i received surgery at Halifax Hospital and she used the Dai Vinci Robot. The tests didn't show how bad things were and a 2 hour surgery turned into 7 1/2 hrs. I was eating in 2 days and home in 4. I was very greatful to her for such a great job and getting me out of nasty pain.

I avoid doctors at every possible turn -- but not Dr Williams. she spends as much time with me as needed to ensure I am comfortable and that we discuss everything that will and needs to occur. I would strongly recommend her.

Horrible bedside manner, practically made fun of me. Totally different diagnosis than a doctor in orlando, whom I'm unfortunately not covered for anymore. She's an awful person.
