Dr. Kathlyn Rose Ignacio, MD

I had an appointment with Dr. Ignacio recently and she was nice to me but seemed a little mean and demeaning to her assistant who was helping her with my appointment right in front of me. It made me feel awkward and anxious and it made me think about if she treats her patients the same way. I'll be looking for another doctor.

Asked me several times about symptoms and and I took several seconds to think about how I was feeling. She was impatient and replied twice that it was a yes or no question. When discussing pain in leg/foot, I took off strapless sandal and she told me to put it back on as she wasn't going to examine that area. After waiting in room for 40 minutes, she entered with no apology or explanation.

Dr. Ignacio was evaluating and overseeing my treatment for work related knee injuries. She was very professional, friendly and took the time to explain to me what was going on as well as answer any questions I may have had . I saw her many times in the course of dealing with my injuries and each time waas an excellent experience . I had no doubt I was in good hands.

She seems nice enough upon first meeting but she is actually rude, patronizing, and demeaning. She does not have empathy and should not be a primary care doctor. If you want to feel like your doctor cares about you and you want to feel comfortable with your doctor, this is not the woman for you.

She took the time to explain the medical condition to me in a way I could easily understand.
