Dr. Kathryn Arnold Dreger, MD

My wife and I both see Dr. Dreger. In fact, we have been seeing her from the time she had partnered with Dr. Amadeo. She is caring, thorough, receptive to thought and ideas and an outstanding physician. She takes time to catch up with you, your recent history and your state of mind - while she secures information about your health or the health- related problem that might have brought you to her office. I feel very lucky to have her as our doctor - simply an outstanding person and a better physician.

Dr. Dreager is worth every penny my spouse and I pay her. When we need quick access to health care services she makes it happen. There were a couple poor reviews including one that said she was in a bad mood. Please remember that Dr, Dreager gets migraines periodically. I had an appointment once and they told me she had to stay home because of a migraine. Also everyone has off days. I find Dr. Dreager to be extremely thorough. She determined. my. cause of migraines. It was because I ate chocolate, blue cheese and drank some red wine and coffee. Six weeks after I. stopped. having those things my. migraines about all went. away. What a. relief.

I feel Very lucky to have found Dr. Dreger. She is an excellent physician and a caring person, a combination which is not easily found today. So happy with her care. The front staff could use a little pep talk, they are totally unfriendly and not welcoming. But one is there for the wisdom and help from this excellent physician.

My first and last appointment with K, Dreger MD was memorably horrific. She was in a bad mood and ranted and refused to treat my infection. I hope she has found a way to curb her temper as even though this was a few years ago, I think others should be warned. If she had apologized later or explained her actions, I would think better of her as a person.

Need I say anything more? She must have good and bad days or else just lets lose on those that she has a personal dislike for. Whatever the case, there are other doctors that are professional and caring.

I've recently returned to Dr. Dreger after a 5 year absence having moved out of the area and then back. Since I left Dr. Dreger, she created the most incredible medical patient care model with Prime PLC. Her care and the time she gives to a patient is unheard of in this day and age of 10-15 minute speed visits so doctors can get as many patients in as possible. She spends on average 45 minutes+ talking to and listening to her patients to effectively and accurately diagnose the patient's issues and/or concerns. She goes well beyond the call of duty and truly loves the care she can now provide. I Highly recommend her and her practice for the best medical care in the area. I am lucky to have her on my side.

I am a physician in a medical subspecialty. I chose Dr. Dreger to be my Internist after observing her in action with patients in the hospital.

In my first visit with her (my usual Dr. Is her partner Dr. Amedeo), she walked in, looked at me and began questioning if I was lactose intolerant. Turns out she was "spot on"! I have been intolerant for years, and it made me carry my weight a certain way. I would like to make her my primary care physician but they say she is not taking any new patients. The front office staff always seem annoyed at something - maybe it is internal stuff. Like the other reviews here I would give them some more customer service training. Office could use some updated decor. But you go for the diagnosis and that's a 5. Most personable doctor I've ever met. Also one teensy criticism - wish they could overlap their office hours because it's weird to not have Tues morning hours and Wed afternoon hours.

I concur with the previous reviews: she has an excellent "bedside manner" and clearly is caring about her patients. She is very thorough in her taking of history, etc., spends a lot of time with her patients ... I never feel rushed ... and is all-inclusive in her approach to one's care. I love that she has a web patient portal so that I can send messages if I need her to answer a question, refill a prescription or offer advice. She is always prompt in answering and often does so after office hours. I have been seeing her for many years (after having to drop my long-time excellent internist who stopped taking my insurance) and I have been fully satisfied and happy with her as my primary care physician. My only criticism would be with the office staff who leave a lot to be desired. They are not particularly friendly, communicate minimally with me and do not measure up to Dr. Dreger's persona. That said, they manage to get things done .... you just don't have a lot of confidence… that they will. That does not reflect the medical assistants within the practice ... they have been fine. I've never had to wait a real long time to either book an appointment or wait in the waiting room. Bring your own reading material .... awful selection of magazines in the office. But not to end on a sour note ....Dr. Dreger is great and I feel fortunate to have her as my doctor.

Dr. Dregar takes her time to get all the facts and she is personable. She cares.
