Difficult to establish trust with a person who is closed off. Prescribed me the wrong medication.

The beds MD I have ever seen

Dr Fankhanel gave me a perscription for Vioxx back in 1998. She kept me on it when I began have heart symptoms. I finally went off it myself, but have since had to have a pacemaker. She must have been testing for the company that makes Vioxx as I went in for a slight pain in my ankle and she had to get special permission to use Vioxx from my insurance co. Don't trust her

My opinion of Dr. Fankhanel is that she was an alarmist. Because she was unable to figure out the source a vague but nagging pain in my side, her final diagnosis was, "You're a very sick woman." She put me through so many tests, it was unbelievable, and sent me to specialists who simply shook their heads when I told them what she thought might be wrong with me. Eventually the pain went away on its own. I wouldn't go to this doctor again if she were the last doctor on earth.
