Dr. Glatter showed a high degree of empathy and compassion to me when she explained that she was recommending me to have open heart surgery and specifically referred me [...] at Mercy in Sacramento. She also expressed a strong sense of confidence in the capability of the cardiac care provided at Mercy to "fix" my aortic valve, so that my wife and I felt comfortable and confident in the care she was recommending- even though it came as a surprise to me. It was a bit of a shock to hear her recommendation. Her compassionate yet confident approach helped tremendously to ease my uneasiness of having open heart surgery.
