Dr. Kathryn Anne Mcclure, MD

Scheduled an 8am appt because I have work at 9am and after 20 minutes of waiting asked the receptionist how much longer would it be because I have work and explained this when making the appointment and the receptionist said she didnt know because she can't control when Dr McClure shows up or her movements. And that she usually comes in at 8:30am. Why on Gods green earth would a doctor expect patients to be on time or early but come in 30 minutes later?? after 45 minutes I had to leave and Im going to find a new doctor who's office staff can be more helpful and hopefully a doctor that respects patients time as much as they respect the doctors time.

This entire office not just Dr. McClure is completely incompetent. I'm 7 months almost 8 months pregnant at the moment and unfortunately i cannot switch doctors because i'm too far along which i understand completely but to put so much stress on a single pregnant mother is ridiculous. First off when i went in for my lab tests and ultrasound they made my family and i wait almost 2 hours. I scheduled the appointment at noon (my lunch break) and my family took off work for this. They said they were busy but keep in mind there was no one in the waiting room and once we were moved to the back after i complained how long the wait was there was no patients in any of the rooms. I heard someone say most of the staff was out for lunch. After blowing that off Dr. McClure came in for not even 5 minutes and hardly said two words to me once she knew i was pregnant. The whole appointment which shouldn't have taken more than an hour to an hour and a half took almost 4 hours. Dr. McClure is also the… doctor that diagnosed me with PCOS and told me when i was 16 that i wouldn't be able to have children and also mentioned to my mother that they could complete a hysterectomy because of how severe my symptoms were. All that aside i just got a call about my insurance from them. They have been seeing me for a couple months now since i found out i was pregnant and i have a primary and a secondary health insurance. They failed to tell me for 2 whole months that they do not take my secondary insurance as secondary but they would take it as a primary (????). So in other words i would have had to drop my primary work insurance in order to be completely covered by their office or pay $600 for only the check ups. Now also keep in mind that the hospital that they are associated with takes both my insurances so i would be completely covered during the birthing process just not them with the check ups. Being very pregnant and highly emotional (on the verge of a stressful breakdown - not good for the baby i thought i would never be able to have) i spoke with another lady in the office and she said they failed to put my insurance information in the system and they would take them both now and she doesn't understand why the first lady i spoke to told me what she did. All that said i would not recommend this office at all especially if you're expecting. If you are a current patient i would highly recommend switching.

Dr McClure is very knowledgeable but kinda quiet...I think alot of people take that she's quiet in a bad way but she was wonderful during my pregnancy!??

Dr. Kathryn McClure is kind, caring and gentle. I had a complete hysterectomy 6 years ago. She explain everything in details. I didn't have any problems. One of my co workers recommend her to me. I'm very please with her services. I would recommend in an heartbeat. She couldn't see me for an appt. I seen Dr. Condon, she was very kind as well. Her entire staff is kind.

She is the best ob I've ever had. She spends time with you until she feels all your questions has been Answered. She's really nice and gentle and she cares about her patients. If you are looking for a Obgyn I recommend Dr. McClure you will truly be satisfied.

I love the entire staff! Everyone is so patient, loving and kind! Been a patient for 8 1/2 years. Love it!

I usually don't write reviews, but for Dr. Mcclure - I would. She's so laid back, sweet, and caring. I scheduled an appointment and wasn't able to see her until... 3 weeks after perhaps? But it was worth the wait. The wait time wasn't too long at all, given that she mailed my paperwork home - which I loved! When I was seen by her, she kind of gave me options as to what she was going to do if her plan A for me didn't work. In the long run, we found out that she actually does not accept my insurance, but she still took me in with my $40 copay,and told me to call back in 7-10 business days for results. I appreciated that a lot. She also stated that she'd refer me to a doctor within my insurance network. I just loved how bubbly and cute she was. Great doctor!

This is my second OBGNY. I have had three children. This Dr did not deliver them, my first Dr did. She passed away a few years ago. I just had a hysterectomy and Dr. McClure was the Dr. She worked with me on options before we decided to do the surgery. She has a great bedside manner and honest and makes me feel her really cares about me. I am glad I chose her as my Dr. Love her.

Dr McClure delivered my son by cesarean section in 2004. I thought she was kind, caring, and a very smart lady. I really liked my doctor visits.Someone in her office, did tell me something VERY inaccurate, but that wasn't her fault. She did, however, immediately do something about the problem.I was very comfortable with her as a doctor.
