Dr. Kathryne Rachelle Derrough, MD

Dr. Derrough is very knowledgeable, she and her staff are very caring and professional.

Dr Derrough was amazing. I was referred to her by my Primary Physician because I was having abnormal bleeding. I was terrified. Dr Derrough and her staff made me very comfortable and at ease. I would highly recommend her if you need a GYN doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Derrough for a couple years and she has been wonderful. She has always listened to me and been very thoughtful about her suggestions. She gets right to the point and is very personable. I feel very comfortable around her and trust her.

I have been a patient of Dr Derrough for 9 years. Through ovarian cysts while younger and 1 healthy pregnancy. These reviews really surprise me, because I think she is fantastic! Always really sweet. She is to the point and has more of a dry sense of humor so maybe that is where she is mis- taken by some. She is so knowledgable and makes me feel like I am in great hands. Thankful for her.

I'm very surprised to see these reviews. Dr. Derrough has been my dr for 10 years & I've never experienced anything like what I've read here. I had a very rare complication during my pregnancy (cholestasis of pregnancy) and Dr. Derrough was a Godsend! She knew more and was more effective in my treatment than the specialist I was also seeing at the time. I would highly recommend her and will be forever grateful for our beautiful, healthy daughter and the care she gave us!

Dr. Derrough was extremely rude and condescending to me. She seemed very judgment of the fact that I've had premarital sex, without even asking about the situation. (I'm in my twenties and have been in a serious relationship for three years.) Her tone was patronizing, and she didn't seem to be listening to anything I said. I'll never make an appointment with her again.

If you are considering Dr.Derrough I urge you to see someone else, she will not listen to your concerns and ignored a very painful life-threatening condition during my pregnancy. Also I was misled and she performed a procedure I did not accept. Terrible doctor. She provided a terrible experience, I am glad she was on vacation when I delivered.

I was a patient of Dr Derroughs for years for my PCOS. When I decided that I wanted to have a child in the future, I discussed this openly with her. This was a 'in the future' talk, so nothing was acted on from the initial discussion. When my partner and I decided that it was time to start trying, we made another appointment with Dr Derrough. From the time she walked in the room, she ignored my partner, asked me if I was still watching my sisters kids and recommended that I read a Catholic religious website on how to naturally conceive. She did prescribe me prenatal vitamins and another pill to help with ovulation, but when I asked if I would need any type of fertility drug, she cut me off to tell me that 'religiously - she could not help me'. She never once asked us about our status in life (financial responsibility, housing, health insurance) or anything in regards to being ready for a child. "Since it is so hard to have a child in a normal household, I am not willing to help you… conceive." This was based on nothing besides the fact that I was not with a man in that room. I was shocked at the blatant discrimination and appalled that she did not refer me to another doctor that would be willing to assist us. Not to mention the hypocrisy that she would not help us conceive, but she would be able to be our doctor after I was pregnant and deliver for us. While not everyone agrees with my lifestyle, I am a woman who wants a happy, healthy child. Unfortunately, her homophobia has lost this patient.

I had been trying to get pregnant for 6 months with very strange cycles. I told her that usually I have heavy periods and they occur every 28 days. I told her the last year or two that I had been having a period every 32-35 days and when I get it it's nothing more than spotting for a day or two. She totally brushed me off and told me it was just a change with my age (I'm 28!!). Since then, I have gone to another dr. and have been diagnosed with PCOS. I drove an hour and half to be blow off! Do not go to her if you want serious answers....

this doctor made me cry before my sergery. She has terrible bedside manors and is a cold hearted witch. She was hateful and left E feeling terrible and uneasy. She doesnt know what shes talking about and from the looks of reviews on other sights i think i will be turning her in for mal practice and the boArd of medicine. Thanks for reading sorry its sloopy but getting used to iphone. Please get a different dr. You will b happy you did thanks for reading.
