Dr. Kathy Marie Clewell, MD

The don’t care about you as a person. Just how much money you can dish out. I tried getting a prescription filled that my insurance would cover but she refused to fill it, even though I had an appointment set within the week. Every time I went in they tried ordering blood work, even though there was no need for it. They honestly don’t care if insurance will cover something or not. The office workers couldn’t answer any of my questions, ever. Their only solution was to set an appointment to get me to come in. Just find someone else. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a Doctor or their office in my life.

Dr. Kathy Clewell has been my doctor for over 15 years. She is always attentive, patient, and knowledgeable about whatever medical issue I visit her for. Also, she listens to my concerns about treatment and is clear about why it is needed. I feel confident during every visit because I know she is always on top of the latest medical information and she has helped me through many serious medical matters which resulted in successful outcomes. Also important, she has a very capable and attentive nurse, Carla, as well as a prompt and responsive staff.

More expensive than other providers, not sure how she bills but with a high deductible plan does not work for me. You get charged for everything that is done even simple blood draws are an extra $15. Her office staff are not always that friendly or helpful.

Rude and impersonal and not very smart and very greedy

The office always gets me in if I'm having an issue or am sick. Dr. Clewell always seems like she cares and will listen. Her nurses and office staff are nice as well. I'm glad I have a Dr. that I can count on when I need it!

Kathy has been our doctor for about 10 years now. At times there is a wait, but sometimes more than 15 minutes, but this is when she may be short-staffed. Both her & her staff are polite and informative. I have recommended her to a few people. My husband just loves her. I feel I can always discuss anything with her.

Dr. Clewell has been my doctor for about 3 years now. She is very knowledgeable and has a caring attitude and excellent bedside manner. Her staff is always nice and the office is generally very accomodating. There is a nurse practitioner available by phone and has proved to be very helpful when the office is closed.
