Dr. Katya Cornejo, PhD

I brought my child in to see Dr. Katya for an ADHD assessment and she made what could be a very stressful experience into a calming, productive meeting. She clearly has her clients best interests in mind and was understanding of our concerns the entire time. I would highly recommend Dr. Katya to anyone.

I was treated by this therapist a few years ago. While the experience wasn't awful, it was a waste time (several months worth, i'm afraid). I found her cold and indifferent. She rarely asked any questions. She sat staring as i talked, occasionally giving out an "mmm-hmm", and sighing out of her nose, which was very distracting. I don't know if this was a personal habit she could not help, or if she was bored/inpatient, but the relationship was so impersonal i didn't even feel like i could talk to her about it. I regret not moving on after the first initial session .
