Dr. Kaushik Mandal, MD

My wife recently received a triple cardiac bypass procedure from Dr. Mandal at the Hershey Medical center and the experience was excellent from all perspectives. Pre-op Dr. Mandal exercised an abundance of caution and kept my wife in hospital over a weekend (after her angiography showed severe blockages) until the procedure could be performed on Monday. The communication between him, his staff, and our family was excellent throughout. Dr. Mandal is a caring professional who has an excellent bedside manner. My wife's recovery proceeded as planned with no unexpected complications. She is presently doing outpatient cardiac rehab and is doing well. My wife's case was complicated by other health issues, and was not straightforward yet she came through the procedure with flying colors. We can't say enough good things about Dr. Mandal and the other medical professionals in the Cardiac Care Unit at Hershey.
