Dr. Kavian Sadeghzade Milani, MD

Four months ago, for a refill of my medications—both with a consistent dosage for over a decade—the office scheduled me with a different doctor instead of my primary physician, Dr. Milani. During the brief virtual appointment, the new doctor confirmed the refills but charged me $110 for an 'office visit’, in addition to the copay. However, one of my medications was denied at pickup, and they insisted on a new blood test and charged me for another 'office visit'. Last month, my medication was denied again to refill and they insisted on another appointment with no medical reason and their response was dismissive and rude. I requested an appointment with Dr. Milani, but they refused to disclose his availability, stating abruptly that he had no time. Having worked in healthcare, I've never witnessed such levels of rudeness and unprofessional behavior. Their refusal to the necessary refills and their insistence on unnecessary appointments seems to prioritize profit over patient care. This… experience was deeply disappointing and entirely unacceptable

Dr. Millani is an amazing doctor. He is very knowledgeable and extremely personable and respectful. He is sincere and try to be accurate in diagnosis before he proceeds with treatment. Dr. Millani’s office staff are super friendly and welcoming.

My initial appointment with Dr. Milani was actually based on a referral from a close friend and neighbor when I was seeking health care services in the Washington, DC area. Dr. Milani has been my GP for 10+ years now and I only have positive comments to convey regarding the level of commitment and excellent service he provides to his patients. Dr. Milani is also extremely knowledgeable and promotes health awareness through current social media channels and wellness programs. Dr. Milani and his team are always professional and reliable. The atmosphere, level of care, and experience provided by Virginia Family Medicine gives me great confidence that I am receiving the best health care services available.

Dr. Milani is a doctor who truly cares about the well-being of his patients and is dedicated to excellence. He goes above and beyond to make sure patients are always provided with excellent care. He is extremely patient, takes the time to listen to my healthcare concerns, and always provides me with the best advice to help me strive to be as healthy as I can be. One of the many ways Dr. Milani provides health awareness to his patients is through his Wellness Programs, which are simply outstanding. Dr. Milani is also extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to educate you accurately about your medical conditions. Dr. Milani is excellent. He has really helped me get my overall health in shape. I am grateful for his diagnosis and his tenacity at keeping me on track.

I don't understand the last review. My husband and I saw Dr. Milani for several years and our children for a few years also. I only stopped seeing him because the commute became too far. I found him to be an excellent doctor. He never rushed, listened to all our concerns and took them seriously. He addressed all our concerns and referred us to specialists when further special testing/attention was needed. He never made us feel like our concerns were stupid. He took car of all our concerns. He took time to explain things. He was kind and patient.

I don't trust dr milani's diagnosis. all he cares about is making money. first I met him in his office he was very nice but than he would write me prescriptions for weight loss that were causing me to have very serious palpatation and chest ache. I saw him twice for my condition and he said I should ignore it and continue taking the meds and things will get better. I saw my OBG dr and once I told him about my symptoms he ordered me to stop taking those high risk meds at once. I stopped taking that medicine that day. But my heart palpatations are worst ever since I have seen him. He Totally IGNORED my symptoms and encouraged me to continue taking medicine that was not good for my heart. I am very sad that dr milani calls himself a physician but he doesn't understand that he is dealing with human's life. I wish he would care about his pt's well being and don't think about Runing out of the room in just a few minutes. He wanted me to schedule an appt. w. him every week and when I came… he didn't do any thing different and he was not listening to my heart discomfort. instead he was telling me to continue taking the same meds he had prescribed me. with my experience I would NOT Trust dr kavani milani to people that I love, because I fear for their health.
