Dr. Kavita Gupta, DO

After graduating from medical school, Dr. Gupta completed her post-graduate training as chief resident in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Temple University and completed a fellowship in pain medicine at Penn State - Hershey Medical Center.Previously, Dr. Gupta was an assistant professor and section head of the Interventional Pain Program at UMDNJ Stratford. She has contributed to the publication of several articles and participates in clinical research within the field of pain management. Dr. Gupta lectures nationwide and has a special interest in community education programs on the latest treatments to alleviate pain.She is an active member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Medical Association, and the American …Osteopathic Association.She has been named as one of the TOP DOCS of South Jersey as well as TOP DOC in Philadelphia Magazine consecutively for over 10 years.Dr. Gupta specializes in advanced interventional pain management for a variety of pain syndromes. Her special interests include spine care, sports injuries, neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal medicine, and holistic treatments such as yoga, acupuncture, and Ayurveda. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys travel, cooking, spending time with her triplets and husband.
