Very through and great at diagnosing.

I have been a patient for several years. Dr. Gazula explains a lot during visits, she spends a lot of time with the patient. Nice person. Knowledgeable doctor.

Gazula once you get to see her, is fine. The receptionist vets your calls for an appointment and semi diagnosis on the phone rather that make an efficient appointment with the doctor. I will look for another doctor because of the over controlling receptionist/assistant.

Dr. Gazula is lovely, takes her time with you, and does a good job of working with you as a team. However, unless I call for a regular checkup, I ALWAYS get the run-around for appointments from her assistant. It's always "Um, well MAYBE I could squeeze you in...". It's NEVER, "Well, let me see when her next availability is." I was bringing my kids there because it's supposed to be a family practice, but I got so sick of the push back every time I tried to make an appointment when they were sick that I moved them to a pediatrician. Then I got practically harassed when someone from the office called to say they had an urgent message regarding one of my kids. The urgent message was that they wanted me to make their well-check appointment. And now after the umpteenth time of getting the run-around while I'm sick and asking to be seen, I'm switching to another doctor who will be more interested in seeing patients for stuff other than routine care. And I'm not a hypochondriac who calls them… all the time. I haven't been in since my annual well-check last year!!
