Dr. Kay Esther Case, MD

Dr. Case was my doctor for my second cesarean section at Providence Medford. She was the most caring, professional, and knowledgeable doctor and made me and my husband feel more the cared for. My recovery was easy and my scar has healed way better then my first. I would absolutely recommend her.

Worst experience with a doctor ever!! She has no compassion, at least not in my situation, she didn't.

I was not impressed with her at all. In the last couple of appointments that I have had with her, she was rude, and insensitive. When you ask a question, she doesn't respond, instead she asks you a question back. To be honest, I don't know how she got her license as a doctor. If you are looking for a female doctor, definitely, you should find someone else. Don't waste your beautiful, precious time with her. I was totally disappointed of her "professional service".

If you're having a baby, I think this might be a good choice in doctors. If you are a woman, who needs help with anything else, then no...please go find another doctor. Please do yourself and your family a favor, and just drive the extra distance to the next city in order to find a good doctor who will listen, and help you find a proper diagnosis. Overall, after five appointments the result is cold, uncaring and sadly any follow up call promised in a week took months.

She has an awful bedside manner. I will never go to her again.

I've been patient of dr Kay for about 4 years, she only saw me once and the rest of the visits I was examined by midwives. Despite my concerns about certain uncomfortable symptoms I was experiencing,which I told them about during my yearly visits,they failed to notice that I have a fibroid. Eventually the symptoms worsened to the point of impossible to ignore and finally Dr Kay performed ultrasound after me insisting on it. The fibroid already had grown to the size of my uterus and she suggested that I must get hysterectomy. I just got weird feeling and decided to get a second opinion. The other doctor confirmed that I have fibroid and it's not a size of my uterus but is larger, much larger and already attached to my bladder and basically pushing through my cervix in the way that you don't need ultrasound to see it. He was amazed that they didn't notice such thing, because it takes years to get that big. Anyway I'm glad that I choose the other doctor, because the surgery was… complicated and I lost a lot of blood, but he handled it perfectly. Dr Kay also charged me about 1000$ for that one visit and ultrasound, what is ridiculous ammont. I still can't understand how did they not notice it early.

I've seen her twice in the past week. She seems to be a happy intelligent woman with great knowledge of the gynecology specialty.

I have seen Dr. Case on numerous visits and she is very caring and understanding. I highly recommend her both as an obstetrician and a gynecologist. Her staff is also wonderful.
