Dr. Kay Andreas Ficht, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Ficht since 1999. He is honest, professional, compassionate and caring. These words describe everyone on the team. Dr. Ficht also cared for both of my Parents and was always there for all of us during their final and difficult months. I recommend Dr. Ficht without reservation!

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Ficht. He is a compassionate and highly skilled physician who listens to his patients in such a way that they feel he is talking to them and not at them. We have been vey satisfied with the care we have received from him these many years and so appreciate the kindness, trust and relaxed feeling we leave his office with. I highly recommend him!

Highly recommended by the local hospital.....after 2 or 3 serious misdiagnoses I decided to end my relationship with this practice......when another Staff member at another specialists asked me what I thought of Dr. Ficht.....before I could answer she said she had heard that he was "edgey". That unfortunately was a very gross understatement.

I have seen the doctor 3 times and am not at all pleased. He is arrogant and does not try to help with problems. When I asked him to run some blood tests so that I don't need to visit my specialist as often for a thyroid disorder(it's a long ride), he didn't want to run the tests as recommended by the specialist. He thought he knew better. When confronted, he actually said, "Why don't got just go to Dr. "so-and-so" then!" He has an enormous ego. He left the office saying he didn't know what was wrong with me and walked away. I find him to be very cold and negligent and his staff has lost my messages more than once. They refuse to be helpful and would not fax my blood work to the lab, but sent it by mail! They also claim not to have emailing capabilities. I would never recommend this doctor.

Did not have a good experience was my Dr for a few years misdiagnosed me. Too quick to judge should learn to listen to his patient. A person knows when something is not right with there body. I suffered for 3 years with cervical herniated disc. Every time I saw this Dr he made me feel like I was just looking for meds. Not good. I had to demand an MRI boy was he shocked when he got the results. The best part about his bedside manner was instead of been a man about he quickly has me see his nurse every time I came in.

Dr. Ficht is an incredible doctor, has more compassion and patience than any doctor I've ever been to.

Dr. Ficht is a highly competent, organized and caring physician.
