Dr. Boutwell is a very sweet, caring and compassionate doctor. I enjoyed every visit with her and staff. Dr. Boutwell expresses her compassion through every visit. She made the last year more manageable with her excellent treatment plan. I would recommend her and her polite, courteous and friendly staff to anyone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It's been a while so now I can't go back because she is not accepting "new" patients. She was the best I have been to, ever.

Dr. Boutwell has been providing me with exceptional care for my chronic back pain due to cancer in my spine since 2009. She listens to me and looks for new treatments and medications as the nature of my pain changes and progresses. With my feedback, she reviews and refines my medication plan, which includes injections, oral medication and a targeted drug delivery system. She respects and honors my desire to take the least amount of daily oral medication as possible but still manage my pain. During my appointments with Dr. Boutwell, she voices her concern about my overall health and well-being. She often suggests supplemental alternative therapies. She recommends to me books, podcasts, and videos, and gives me the names of experts in the field of managing pain and other related fields discovered through her extensive research on alternative and mainstream pain therapies. For example, I read and benefited from “Head Strong” by Dave Asprey thanks to her recommendation. Dr.… Boutwell is an intelligent, research-oriented and progressive pain management doctor and I trust her medical advice and decisions. Her enthusiasm for her field and her patient’s experience is motivating and infectious. Her staff is organized, pleasant and adept at handling any issues that arise. After being in pain for for 11 months and only able to travel via our RV on the couch a friend recommended Dr. Boutwell. One of the best decisions in my life was to make the appointment with her in May of 2015. She is a very caring person and very much in tune with her patients. I expressed I wanted to get through this without using strong pain medications and we were able to take care of my back pain using injections, therapy, exercise, diet, vitamins and mild medications. It took some time because I seemed to be allergic to everything, we kept trying things until we found the combination that worked. Dr. Boutwell never gave up on me and encouraged me to continue on the journey back to good health. I encourage everyone to make an appointment with her, if you are in pain. I live 2 1/2 hours away, but would not consider seeing anyone else but her. Some people tell me they don't want to travel that far, really to be without pain it is worth the drive. Last month I went on a cruise with… my family and I have been back to work fulltime now for a couple years. I am living not existing any longer. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Boutwell and her wonderful staff. I feel like family and look forward to going in for my 6 month check-ups to see what else has been discovered to make my life even better. Dr. Kaylea Boutwell and the staff are very professional, compassionate, and resonates a family atmosphere the moment you enter the office. She understands her patients individually and holistically. She tries to understand you strengths and weaknesses, goals and interests. By the way, congratulations Nichol on your new life journey! Your baby is beautiful!
