Dr. Gayoung Kaylee Yu, MD

I went to her office, she barely took any time with me. This was my first appointment with her, she didnt check my feet, ask any questions, she just took my pump data to upload it and sat silently scrolling through everything and she said "you have some lows and I said yes if you look you can i adjusted my rates after that." That was the only comment she made that may be considered 'add value.' even though it was not. So I started to ask her any questions e.g. Whats the latest and greatest in the Diabetes world, new tech, new tests and trials, NOPE SHE KNOWS NOTHING. And the cherry on top, she ruined all my diabetes prescriptions e.g. I tried to order insulin supplies but apparently she ordered mE a brand new pump, and infusion set only. Never asked for or needed a new insulin pump, just needed supplies and she only ordered for the infusion set, how about the cartridge? how about the needle????? ZERO EFFORT. I could have done a better job with my own AI anlaysis of my pump data.… IF DOCTORS LIKE KAYLEE DONT STEP THEIR GAME UP, THESE TYPES OF USELESS DOCTORS THAT LITERALLY PROVIDE ZERO VALUE will get replaced BY AI AND I CANT WAIT FOR THAT!

I had several appointments with Dr. Yu, and I'm displeased to say I will not be returning to her. Her bedside manner is the worst I have ever encountered and I work in healthcare. She cannot even be bothered to review a patient chart before seeing you. Multiple times she acted aloof like she didn't know what she was seeing me for. I did not feel important to her, I felt like a dollar sign just walking into her office that she couldn't wait to rush back out. She does not listen, & she has zero empathy. It is no surprise that she has the shortest wait time as an endocrinologist in Las vegas. Take my advice, just wait to see a different doctor (maybe even at a different practice location)! You will be saving yourself time, as now I need to wait months to be seen by a different office.
