Dr. Kean Brendan Lawlor, MD

I saw him about 5 years ago specifically for a skin cancer check because high degree of skin cancer in my family history. I asked specifically about a red patch on my face that had been there a few years at that time. He glanced at it, said it's keratosis, and said, "no need to worry." He did not tell me that, while not skin cancer, areas of keratosis have a high risk of turning into skin cancer. He didn't tell me to have it checked periodically. He said "not cancer." He took no biopsy but maybe just by quickly eying it at that time, MAYBE, he could tell if it really was non-cancerous then. MAYBE his diagnosis was correct. But the doc I have now says that my squamous cell carcinoma is both wide-spread and SLOW-spreading. So might have been there 5 years ago. At any rate, Dr. Lawlor definitely shouldn't have told me "not to worry." He SHOULD have told me to watch it carefully. But he didn't. So I now have a big prominent scar on my face. You can do better than seeing Dr. Lawlor for… skin cancer diagnosis.

Dr. Kean Lawlor is the best doctor I have ever met. Due to a chronic illness affiliated with an unknown blood infection I have seen more doctors than most. There is something very SPECIAL about this guy. If you can become his patient you will be in good hands. BEST, SMARTEST, KINDEST doctor you can find.

Dr. Lawlor is truly a phenomenal physician! I am seen him several times over the years, probably 2005 to 2017 and he has always come through for me. He spends time listening to my issues and concerns and then spends time answering those questions thoroughly. When it comes down to a procedure; he has always done flawless work and I have never been unhappy with the results. He removed two unsightly freckles/moles and they healed perfectly even though my skin tends to keloid. Another time he offered me advice on some hair loss I was experiencing (I am a woman and it was very distressing) and I followed his advice and the problem vastly improved! I had gone to other Dr.’s that didn’t seem to care at all and offered no hope. Dr. Lawlor saw several things that I could do by evaluating me as an individual and really thinking about what was the cause for me instead of just generalizing. So many Dr.’s have a horrible bedside manner and limited knowledge or time to research what they… don’t know. He is the only Dr. that I wholeheartedly recommend if someone needs a dermatologist.

Dr Lawlor is amazing...His knowledge, skill and abiility put him above and beyond other Dr's...I saw him years ago after a referral from my PCP...he was able to diagnose, treat and cure my skin condition in a few visits...he is smart and I've referred all my family and friends to him...Dr's like him are rare...if you get a referral to him...take it...he's the best of the best!

He has a keen diagnostic eye (no pun intended) my shingles were treated quickly with the vaccine.

I haven't been to many doctors in my life. I went to my pediatrician until I was 19. As a young adult I never felt like doctors took my concerns seriously and I usually left with a prescription for something I may or may not have needed. Then I was referred to Kean Lawlor. He was great, he really listened. He is a no nonsense kind of guy so there is not a lot of fluff during our brief visits but he knows his stuff. He addressed my concerns, found solutions i was comfortable with and voil! my skin has never looked better!

Dr. Kean Lawlor is without a doubt one of the finest medical practioner you will ever visit. He was recommended to me by another Board Certified Doctor for an unrelated issue, then I happen to have had a skin cancer incident that Dr Lawlor resolved within a few weeks. This happend over 5 years ago and there has not been any reoccurance because Dr. Lawlor uses a special procedure that ensures the cancer is completly removed.

I have been everywhere. UW, Everett clinic, Swedish, Virgina Maison, and no Dr. could figure out what was going on and most made it worst. One time seeing me and "presto" it was cured.
