I was born and raised here in New Orleans and completed almost all of my education here in town at Newman, Tulane Biomedical Engineering, LSU Medical School, and Orthopaedic Surgery at Charity Hospital. I embarked on one final year of advanced Fellowship training in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Washington in Seattle. Finally I returned to New Orleans and joined the Bone and Joint Clinic in 2002.

Dr Robert was very helpful in explaining all the issues I’m experiencing and offer several recommendations for treatment. He was patient and has great bedside manner. I went to him because the previous hand doctor I visited was very rude, arrogant, and literally spent 3 minutes with me during my exam. I asked for his opinion on what I should do and he told me frankly his job is not to give me his opinions but he’s only there to give me options. Even though his office is super busy, Dr Robert made me feel comfortable and felt like took his time and not rushed

Went into the exam extremely apprehensive about my injured left upper arm, thinking it was a torn tendon or ligament. After physical exam and X-Rays, I was assured there were no breaks or fractures in the injured area and he believed it was a torn bicep upper area and only PT would probably be needed, but set up an MRI to support his diagnosis. When I left the office I felt like a 50lb weight was lifted from my shoulders.i slept soundly that night for the first after my injury. Well handling of my case.

Visiting Dr Robert was just what I needed. He is personable and patient. Dr Robert spoke with me and didn’t rush my session with him. I like that! He also came in and completely explained the procedure that he will perform on my wrist (in detail) and made me feel totally comfortable. I’m glad I chose him for my care!!!

My visit with Dr. Robert was awesome as always. What like about this doctor is he’s very thoughtful and considerate of what’s going on with his patients. He listens and take time with his patient to see what’s going on. I’ve been seeing Dr. Robert close to ten years now, and on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give him a 10 PLUS!
