I am 18 years old i have have crohn's disease for 5 years he diagnosed me when i was 13 years old he explained everything carefully so i would understand he listen to me i was by a few doctors for crohn's i would say he is the best

I am the wife of a doctor and am very familiar with the medical profession. Dr. Benkov diagnosed and cared for our son for many years until he was too old to see a pediatric specialist. Dr. Benkov is a sensitive, highly skilled practitioner who helped an ill 7 year old become a healthy young man who excelled in college and law school and learned to live well with Crohn’s disease.

My son has been diagnosed and treated by Dr. Benkov for Chron's disease. Dr. Benkov is compassionate, spends as much time as the child needs to explain their symptoms and questions about IBD. My son has blossomed since he started treatment as a young boy. We are honored that we are part of the Mount Sinai IBD Center getting the best care in NYC.

Insensitive to my son's needs. Performed a colonoscopy to a13 year old without any anasthesia; he screamed in pain throughout procedure. Dr would not prescribe 6mp or immuran(the only available medications at that time). Dr only wanted to remove his colon. Only interested in promoting his career.

We highly recommend Dr Benkov. He is treating my son from last 9 years. My son is doing well under his treatment. We are blessed to have him as his Doctor.

Dr. Benkov is a wonderful, caring Dr. Extremely capable of making tough medical recommendations that include the extremely important quality of life issue. We would, and do, recommend him.

Visited twice a day while in the hospital,admitted when he didn't know, answered endless questions, caring, patient, and very smart.I would recommend him.His office staff is excellent.

Dr. Benkov is kind and caring physician.He is totally committed to his specialty and the care of children. Unlike many doctors in his field, he understands that a child's illness/medical condition impacts the entire family. He is extremely patient and generous with his time. I would give 5 stars but this site allows for 4.
